Geoffrey Minte

Geoffrey Minte is a long-time serial entrepreneur, primarily working in the media space (TV, Film, Digital) spanning four decades. Starting in cable, he has built niche businesses that capitalize on trends and opportunities with universal appeal, including cable advertising and commercial production, syndicated sponsored television programming, international sports sponsorships, feature films, and domestic program exchanges. He has partnered with media companies that have generated over $650 million in high-margin revenues during that time. As co-founder and Managing Director at Man in the Moon Productions, Inc, Geoff produced several successful interstitial vignette series, including Today in Music History (nominated for an Emmy) and Quick Schtick, with major client sponsorships of more than $100m. As the founder and President of International Media and Entertainment (IME) he was responsible for the production, sponsorship, and distribution of World Cup Programming is distributed in multiple languages in over 60 countries. He also successfully represented several film catalogs in the US and Europe. As co-founder of Monterey Media Concepts, LLC, Geoff distributed feature films and animation to over 130 stations in major markets in the US, leveraging $5b in advertising spend on behalf of major ad agency holding companies and their clients from 1996-2014. As co-founder and Managing Director of GaiaLive LLC, Geoff leads the development and production of several creative television projects, including ECO2 and The Message of the Shroud.

Dan Sladkus

Dan Sladkus has been on the cutting edge of video and film production since 1984 when he founded Deerfield Productions, Inc. and built it into one of the most active production companies in the New York metropolitan area. Since then, Deerfield has produced hundreds of television commercials. Clients range include regional and national advertising agencies as well as top fortune 500 firms themselves. In addition, Deerfield is one of the nation’s foremost producers of educational media content, producing projects for many of the country’s leading publishing firms, including Prentice Hall, Scholastic, Sunburst Communications, Human Relations Media, Houghton Mifflin, McGraw-Hill, Pearson Education, and Random House to name a few. Dan has received numerous awards, including the coveted Parents Choice Awards and gold, silver, and bronze medals from the International Film and Television Festival educational division. In 1999 Dan sold Deerfield Productions Inc. to Smart Pros Ltd and was instrumental in taking the combined companies public in 2005 with a sale to Kaplan Education (NYSE: GHC). In 2006 he founded DEG Productions Inc. DEG, and its divisions; DEG Direct Response, Deerfield Education Group, serving the direct-to-consumer branding and drive to retail advertising markets, and K-12 and higher educational publishing markets.
